Jason Lieblong Wins the Mr. Bass of Arkansas Tournament
on Lake Dardanelle
Jason Lieblong Wins on Lake Dardanelle!!!
Jason Lieblong topped 56 pros' fishing the fourth MBOA tournament of
2011 by catching 5 bass that weighed 19.71 pounds. The warm weather
has pushed the bass onto the bank, and the MBOA anglers capitalized
on the surge. The pros' brought in Thirty-five 5-bass limits and the
amateurs brought in eight five-bass bags. Here's how the top 3 pros'
caught their bass:
1st place - Jason Lieblong - 5 bass - 19.71 pounds - $2,125.00
Jason fished shallow, where he threw a
Texas-rigged Lizard (Junebug/Red) to
catch his bass. Jason's sack also included
the day's big bass, a 5.07 pound "Toad"
which earned him an additional $350.00.
Jason was also Ranger Cup Qualified,
which earned him another $250.00!

2nd place - Jerry Williams - 5 bass - 19.23 pounds - $1,277.00
This was Jerry's second consecutive 2nd place
finish in an MBOA event. He also fished a
Texas-rigged lizard in 1-3 ft. of water. Jerry
commented that he caught 20 plus keepers
and 50 total fish on the day. What a day on the
water!!!

3rd place - Daniel Kweekul - 5 bass - 16.71 pounds - $1,045.00
Daniel said that he couldn't even estimate the
number of keepers he caught on the day. He
started culling at 8:00 AM in the morning and
caught them all day long. He threw a Texas-
rigged Senko (green pumkin) to catch all of
his bass.

Jason Scoggins Wins on Lake Dardanelle!!!
Jason Scoggins topped 46 amateurs fishing on Lake Dardanelle by
catching 5 bass that weighed 17.93 pounds. Jason fished with Kelly
Coble and noted that all of his bass were caught on spinnerbaits and
chatterbaits after 1:00 PM. Jason took home $870.50 for the win plus
an additional $500 from Everett Buick GMC for purchasing a vehicle
