Jason Bunch Wins the Mr. Bass of Arkansas Tournament
on Greers Ferry Lake
Jason Bunch Wins on Greers Ferry Lake!!!
Jason Bunch topped 52 pro anglers fishing the second Mr. Bass of
Arkansas Tournament of 2011 by catching 5 bass that weighed 14.11
pounds. The bite was solid on Greers and 22 pro's and 4 amateurs
brought 5-bass limits to the scales. Here's how the top 3 pro's caught
their fish:
1st - Jason Bunch - 5 bass - 14.11 pounds - $2,022.00
Jason commented that he caught bass
on jerkbaits, crankbaits, and jigs. He said
that a Smithwick Rogue accounted for
most of his weight. Jason also caught the
day's big bass, a 5.68 pound "Toad" that
earned him an additional $350.00. To see

2nd Place - Brent Ward - 5 bass - 13.91 pounds - $1,277.00
Brent caught all of his bass on Sloan jigs
(solid black) in 4 feet of water or less. He
commented that his fish were caught up
one of the many creeks on Greers.

3rd Place - Shawn Gordon - 5 bass - 13.26 pounds - $1,000.00
Shawn caught all of his fish on Excalibur
square bill crankbaits (red) and Storm
Wiggle Warts. He commented that he
caught some of his fish in the creeks and
some of his fish on the main lake.

Jason Ballentine Wins on Greers Ferry Lake!!!
Jason Ballentine topped 43 amateurs by catching 5 bass that
weighed 9.49 pounds. Jason fished with Brent Ward and caught all of
his bass on home made jigs (Green Pumpkin). He took home $845.00
for his efforts.
In addition to the $845.00, Jason also took home an additional $500
compliments of Everett Buick GMC for purchasing a vehicle in
